Welcome to the Beta - lesion.io

Today marks the launch of lesion.io from alpha to beta! I hope that your interest in our software has only grown as we continue to enhance and enrich our lesion search platform to make it easier to search for vulnerabilities, exploits, and remediations.

What's new?
Coming from alpha was really coming from an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). Once I had heard feedback from users that this was something that they used frequently, I decided it was time to build the vision out right. Here's what we currently have.
Completely new Frontend, Backend, and API System
Gone are the times of running a search and waiting. A search now runs almost immediately and returns up to 10,000 results.

-
Searches are now faster due to our new dedicated API.
-
The search bar now recommends a list of terms based on what you're searching.
-
Searches now support version matching and range matching.
-
A search can now be filtered by Severity, Type, and whether it has an exploit available.
-
CVEs and GitHub repos that are aggregated by the platform can now be claimed and rewarded for.
-
A feedback widget has been added to the app, allowing for closer work with the community on features and bugs.
-
Save searches, export results and CVEs, and more!

New submit feedback widget.
What's ahead?
Moving forward, we really want to get the Lesion Search platform into the hands of our users and start helping them search for vulnerabilities and exploits. Listed below is our plan for moving forward.

-
Continue to enrich and enhance the Lesion Dataset to ensure that it has all the right knowledge that our users value.
-
Continue to work with the community on feature requests and bug fixes.
-
Push out write-ups and additional content through the Lesion Community.
-
Continue to build on and update the Lesion Security platform and software.
-
Build out the API documentation and other planned features for our supporter users.
We have implemented a professional plan for users wanting some additional benefits (See "https://lesion.io/#pricing" for more information). However, as we have promised, all our data will never be paywalled. We will only ever charge for automation and API usage.
Thank you for your continued interest and support, and believing in the project we are users helping users and hope that our software can save you time and give you the full picture when it comes to a vulnerabilitiy your interested in.
